SACRAMENTO. Kidnap accused Phillip (pictured right) and Nancy Garrido can talk by telephone in two tightly controlled, five-minute calls over the next six weeks, a judge in California has ruled, but they cannot yet visit each other in the El Dorado County jail. The defendants in the kidnapping of Jaycee Lee Dugard can speak if Nancy Garrido decides to make such a call. Jail officials will be allowed to monitor the calls, El Dorado Superior Court Judge Douglas Phimister ruled during a wide-ranging, hour-long hearing on the six-month anniversary of the kidnapped Ms Dugard being found alive after 18 years of mystery.
